I always say nature photography is like fishing: you need the right equipment, a lot of patience and a little luck. I had all three the day I got this shot, after watching this lady zip from flower to flower, I finally got her in my sights and managed to snap right as she was dipping in for a long drink of nectar.
The image is printed onto a 1/16 aluminum sheet that brings out the dramatic colors and adds incredible durability. A float mount is included on the back.
