Ladybugs hold a special place in my heart for lots of reasons. First and foremost, my mom loves them so they always make me think of her. Second, the first photo I ever had accepted at a gallery show was a ladybug. And this year, they've been cleaning aphids and other predators our of my garden like nobody's business.
