The Bees
and the Bees

As I've mentioned, my camera helps me look at the world in a whole new way.  That's especially true with macrophotography and what it's shown me about bees. Tiny, delicate, and hard-working, I could follow them for hours. And to see the tiny details, like individual flecks of pollen on a bee shining like gold, shows me a world I forget exists. It reminds me that we belong to nature; it doesn't belong to us.
