La Femme Bugita

Assassin Bugs were another cool discovery brought about by my forays into macrophotography. I'm not saying that I somehow stunned the scientific community by discovering a new species; I'm just pointing out that I'd never really noticed them before. Then the first La Femme Bugita showed up in my milkweed garden and I started watching her and imagining her life story.  Which led to a whole series of Assassin Bug drama.
