One thing macrophotography has taught me is how many different types of pollinators there are in the world, especially how many different bees there are. I took this shot in late summer, when the bees are pollen drunk and happy, gorging themselves on a variety of flowers. This Aster drew all kinds of butterflies and bees but this little guy was determined not to move until he'd had his fill.
This 8x10 Print is professionally inked onto archival paper then mounted behind an 11x14 black and white mat to bring out the color contrast. The frame is black wood, finished with a dust protective backing and wired to hang.
